Manresa School Family Day Kicks Off with a Grand Field Demonstration
FEB 08

Despite the drizzle and light rain, the spirit of Amoris Laetitia and Laudato Si shone brightly at Manresa School's Family Day! Celebrating the joy of family and caring for our common home, the school’s Family Day celebration on February 8-9, 2025, kicked off with a vibrant parade on the first day, uniting the members of the entire educative family – F.I. Sisters, Administration, Manresa School Parents Auxiliary (MSPA), Manresa School Alumni Association (MSAA), Blessed Candida Maria Foundation (BCMF), Manresa School Faculty and Staff Organization (MSFSO), ManresaSchool General Student Board (MSGSB), parents and guardians. The occasion was graced by the presence of the F.I. Sisters, and Sr. Emelinda C. Falsis, F.I., Provincial Superior of the Indico-Pacific Province.
The field demonstration, themed "Amoris Laetitia and Laudato Si'," was presented in three parts: "Everything is Connected," "We are Broken," and "Our Response." Through presentations and dances, the students depicted God's gift of love in creation, including the family; the brokenness, ills, and social issues facing society and the world; and finally, the response to the call of Amoris Laetitia and Laudato Si'.
