Grade School Manresans Showcase Excellence in Kulturang Pinoy Events

The Grade school students showcased their knowledge and writing skills in the recently concluded Kulturang Pinoy Quiz Bee and On-the-Spot Essay Writing Contest, organized by the Brown Movement for Cultural Advancement, Inc.
The Kulturang Pinoy Quiz Bee featured a Preliminary Written Exam on November 23, 2024, at the Asian Social Institute and the Finals on January 18, 2025, at the GSIS Museum. Under the guidance of coaches Ms. Christine F. Diaz, Mr. Bryan B. Pragoso, and Mrs. Rebeca Marie N. Veloso, young participants demonstrated their grasp of Filipino culture.
Grade 6 pupil Chester Arthur B. Corneja earned 3rd place, while Jose Iñigo P. Pablo (Grade 5), Liam Arthur C. Gumangan (Grade 5), Keiko Lynn T. Pring (Grade 4), and Anna Isabelle L. Rivera (Grade 5) received Honorable Mentions.
Meanwhile, the Kulturang Pinoy On-the-Spot Essay Writing Contest, held on January 25, 2025, at the Asian Social Institute, recognized the literary talents of Grade 6 students under the mentorship of Mrs. Rebeca Marie N. Veloso. Blahnik M. Cueto, Georgina Therese D. Abdon, and Christine Yumi Marie S. Pablo all secured 3rd place honors.
These competitions celebrate students' dedication to Filipino heritage while fostering national pride and a deeper understanding of the country's history, culture, and arts, shaping them into informed and engaged citizens.
