PCNE X is a humbling experience for me. More than the talks and inputs given in the plenary sessions, the in-depth dialogue and conversation during the concurrent sessions with other members of the different sectors of the church, the small group sharing with other Fathers (priests) and Sisters (nuns), and even the simple and informal or casual chats with other lay people who are present there during snacks and lunch breaks, moved me to understand being in a synodal church. The “conversation in the spirit” awakened my desire, in the little way that I can, to get involved and participate in whatever ministry of the church that I may serve. The conference theme “SALYA”, crossing to the other side, imposed a great challenge for me to walk humbly with God, to walk with others, and to walk together to the other side, together in faith, together in prayer, and together in love.
