Avinya Inc. Conducts Agriduino Project Exhibit During Manresa Junior High School Nutrition Month Celebration

As part of the Junior High School Nutrition Month Celebration, Avinya Inc. conducted an engaging Agriduino Project Exhibit at Manresa Junior High School, giving students an opportunity to experience the exciting integration of robotics, Arduino technology, and smart agriculture.

Anchored on the Nutrition Month theme, “Nourishing Hearts, Sustaining Lives: Witnesses of Hope and Joy for a Healthier, More Just World,” the exhibit highlighted how technology can contribute to food security, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewardship. The activity complemented the school's efforts to promote healthy living by demonstrating innovative solutions that support efficient food production and responsible resource management.

Students from Grade 7 to Grade 10 enthusiastically attended and participated in the exhibit, where they explored a variety of Agriduino projects powered by Arduino microcontrollers, sensors, and educational robots. Through interactive demonstrations, learners gained firsthand experience in programming, automation, and the practical application of smart technologies in agriculture.

The exhibit featured innovative prototypes such as smart irrigation systems, soil moisture monitoring, water level detection, automated environmental monitoring, and other Internet of Things (IoT)-based agricultural solutions. Students also interacted with educational robots, allowing them to appreciate the role of robotics and automation in addressing real-world challenges while developing their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The activity was facilitated by Sir Red, Sir Jerwin, and Sir Hughland of Avinya Inc., who shared their expertise in robotics and Arduino technology through engaging presentations, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Their guidance encouraged students to explore the limitless possibilities of innovation and inspired many to pursue deeper interests in science, engineering, and technology.

The Agriduino Project Exhibit formed part of the Junior High School Nutrition Month Celebration, spearheaded by Mr. John Vincent R. Pinto, Mr. Fredie Rick P. Llorando, and Mr. Jojit E. Ledesma. Through their leadership, the celebration provided students with meaningful activities that connected nutrition, sustainability, environmental responsibility, and technological innovation.

Teachers and students expressed their appreciation for the exhibit, recognizing its value in enriching classroom learning and supporting the school's Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) and Computer Education programs. The event demonstrated that technology can play a significant role in creating sustainable food systems and promoting healthier communities.
