Rooted, Renewed, Inspired: Manresa School Faculty and Staff Gather for Annual Integration Activity in Perlas ng Silang, Cavite
Carrying the profound theme "Rooted in Faith, Renewed by Nature, Inspired to Serve," the Manresa School community gathered for its annual Integration Activity last June 22, 2026. Held at Perlas ng Silang in Cavite, the day-long event offered a meaningful blend of spiritual reflection, collaborative team-building, and professional fellowship.
The day commenced early at 7:15 AM with a departure from the Manresa School campus. Before arriving at the main venue, participants made a spiritual pitstop for a peaceful visit to the Pink Sisters Convent and Chapel, setting a faith-driven tone for the rest of the day.
Upon arriving at Perlas ng Silang, the formal program kicked off with an opening prayer led by Mr. Ian Rosales, followed by a warm welcome address. To break the ice and energize teachers and staff, Mrs. Rhoda Villanueva led the first of two engaging icebreaker activities.
The core of the integration activity focused on evaluation, spiritual growth, and community building. Participants engaged in a productive Group Sharing session divided by area and office. Armed with discussion guides, the various departments dove into heartfelt conversations centered on three key areas:
-
Before, During, and After the In-Service Training: Teachers and staff evaluated how they maximized the benefits of their recent academic training, candidly discussed the challenges they encountered, and offered personal suggestions to help the school better support future institutional programs.
-
Takeaways from the Recent Retreat and Recollection: Educators and staff reflected on their annual spiritual retreat, discussing their key learnings, internal insights, and how they plan to apply these breakthroughs to both their personal and professional lives.
-
On Being Kapatid sa Kapwa: Rooted in the school's mission, participants are encouraged to look inward at their unique gifts, talents, and strengths, brainstorming how they can maximize these God-given blessings to enrich their personal growth, daily professional work, and service to others.
