Turn Over of Books

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” — Winston Churchill

On March 27, 2026, the Manresa School Learning Resource Center proudly shares a collection of 488 books from Grade School Library and 100  books from Junior High School Library with Danlog Elementary School (San Jose) and EMOK Elementary School (Magsaysay) in Occidental Mindoro extending their purpose beyond our shelves and into new hands where they are needed most. The books were formally turned over to Mr. Jeffrey C. Maravilla (4th from left on the first photo), Chairman of PENAPLE Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles) Yakap, Inc. who is spearheading a special project dedicated to supporting the above-mentioned schools.

This meaningful initiative would not have been possible without the coordination and collaboration of our Community Extension Services Office, as well as the full support of our administrators, whose shared commitment continues to bring opportunities for learning beyond our immediate community.

These resources become more valuable and relevant when shared with intention, care, and purpose. Through this act of giving, these books are given a second life, continuing to educate, inspire, and nurture young minds. It is our hope that these textbooks will spark curiosity, support learning, and contribute to the growth of both students and educators in their new communities.
