LUDES Educators and School Heads Embark on Benchmarking Visit to Manresa School

In pursuit of academic success and institutional growth, the school heads and educators of the Lucena Diocesan Educational System (LUDES) conducted a benchmarking visit to Manresa School last January 16, 2026. The visit provided a chance for collaboration, allowing the delegates from LUDES to experience the Manresan way of education.

The day started with a hospitable reception by the Manresa School administrators. The atmosphere was one of fraternal collaboration as both institutions recognized their shared commitment to Catholic education.

The formal program began with a presentation of Manresa School’s Mission and Vision. This session provided the LUDES visitors with a foundational understanding of the school’s core values, emphasizing its dedication to the holistic formation of students—forming them to be Christ-centered, globally competent, and self-actualized individuals inspired by the spirit of Saint Candida Maria de Jesus.

The highlight of the visit was the scheduled classroom observations and campus tour, which allowed the LUDES delegates to see pedagogical theories put into practice. These observations showcased the Manresan way of educating—a methodology characterized by character formation, diverse instructional strategies, student engagement, and the integration of technology and values in the classroom. After the classroom observations, the delegates toured the campus. This gave them the chance to check out the school’s facilities, including specialized learning centers and laboratories that support academic programs.

The benchmarking concluded with an Articulation Session. The articulation allowed the LUDES delegates to reflect on their observations and share their insights with Manresa School. The delegates engaged in discussions regarding school management, faculty development, and specific student-centered programs.

The event ended on a high note, reinforcing the bond between Catholic educational institutions and their common goal of nurturing the youth towards a life of service and faith.
