Noche Buena Distribution at Sta. Candida Maria de Jesús Parish, Naic, Cavite
DEC 08
On December 8, Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, Manresa School outreach volunteers visited Sta. Candida Maria de Jesús Parish in Ciudad Nuevo, Naic, Cavite to distribute Noche Buena Packages generously donated by parents, students, teachers, and staff of the school's educative community.
The activity began with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Mayolene Joseph Mayola, the parish priest, followed by a simple breakfast at the refectory. Afterward, the team proceeded with the distribution of Noche Buena Packages to selected families from ten Basic Ecclesial Communities within the parish. The distribution flowed smoothly with the guidance and kind assistance of the Parish Pastoral Council President, Mrs. Charry Tejano who helped in identifying recipient families.
Following the distribution, Ms. Charry expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Manresa School—especially to the Hijas de Jesus Sisters—for their unwavering support and for choosing the parish as one of the beneficiaries of the school’s annual Christmas gift-giving activity.
This year, Manresa School was able to share 45 Noche Buena Packages to most needy in the parish, and we look forward to extending even more in the years to come. Despite the distance, our hearts were full as we experienced the warmth, love, and strong sense of community from the parishioners we met that morning. We returned home joyful and inspired.
Special thanks to our dedicated outreach volunteers who chose to spend their holiday in service: Mr. Francis Esmetalda, Larrene Joy Bilanguel, Ms. Ma. Luisa Mandario, and Ms. Jenelyn Favila.
May the light and love of Christ continue to shine within and among us.
