Manresa Educators Honored in Inspiring Appreciation Day
OCT 03

Manresa Educators Honored in Inspiring Appreciation Day On October 3, 2025, the Manresa School community gathered to celebrate and appreciate its administrators, teachers, staff and personnel. The day was a heartfelt tribute to the extraordinary dedication, commitment and contributions of the Manresan educators, recognizing their vital role in "planting the seeds of knowledge and fostering the growth of wisdom and faith to their common children.”
A Morning of Faith and Blessing
The celebration commenced with a Mass presided over by Fr. Firmo Bargayo, Jr., S.J., who offered special prayers and a blessing for the educators. In a timely connection to Prison Awareness Month, Fr. Firmo also acknowledged the school's charitable support for the Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation, Inc. (PJPS) Soap Campaign, noting the students’ and educators’ annual soap donations for persons deprived of liberty.
Student-Led Gratitude
To personally recognize the educators' impact to the students, the Manresa School General Student Board (MSGSB) and the Senior High School Student Government (SHSSG) officers, under the tutelage of Ms. Caren Rodriguez, hosted two separate programs for the Grade School and High School educators. The student body expressed their deep gratitude to the sisters, teachers, staff, maintenance, and security personnel through heartfelt greetings, presentations, games, raffles, and tokens of appreciation.
Pause and Recharge: An Afternoon of Relaxation and Wellness
The afternoon was dedicated entirely to relaxation, enjoyment, and fun for all personnel. The Manresa School Faculty and Staff Organization (MSFSO), led by Sr. Nori Marquez, F.I., collaborated with the school administration and the Manresa School Parents’ Auxiliary (MSPA), led by Mrs. Rose Asi, to provide restorative activities for all personnel. Under the theme "Pause and Recharge: Cultivating Faith, Renewing Hope and Living with Love," the educators enjoyed a wide array of wellness stations courtesy of the MSPA, including: food and drinks booths, free grooming services (manicure, hair cut, and massage), online and recreational games, karaoke, arts and crafts, reading space, and photo booth. The administration sponsored a sumptuous agape, and each person received a token from the MSFSO. The day successfully provided stress-free moments of joy, laughter and togetherness; strengthening the sense of camaraderie and overall well-being of the entire community. After the agape, the educators went home with renewed strength and gladness, knowing that their vital roles and lasting impact were truly valued, celebrated, and appreciated.
It takes a special kind of heart to be an educator. It takes boundless patience, endless dedication, and an unwavering belief in the unseen potential of every child. Happy Educators’ Day to all!
