Students also learned music theory in addition to developing their music talents and performance skills.

Twelve young and talented Manresans took center stage at the 2025 Summer Music Recital held on May 17, at 10:00AM in Manresa School AVR. This vibrant event marked the culminating activity of the schools’ 10-day Summer Music Program, which ran from May 5 to 9 and May 12 to 16.                              Marking its fourth successful year since 2017, the Summer Music Program remains a valuable opportunity for students to cultivate their musical gifts over the break. This year, Manresan participants from elementary to high school and a homeschooled student dove into voice and piano lessons with the school’s skilled Music teachers, Mr. Mark Mallari and Mr. Russel Calmante. Over two weeks, the students refined their abilities, explored musical expressions, and boosted their confidence through dedicated practice and instruction.

More than just a performance, the recital joyfully celebrated the students' remarkable growth and progress. During the culminating program, Sr. Edhen Mae Paranga, F.I., opened the event with a heartfelt prayer, setting a spirit of gratitude and praise.

Each performance beautifully showcased the students' talents, dedication and courage. The recital was warmly attended and applauded by parents, relatives, and members of the Manresa School community, including several F.I. sisters, for their support and appreciation.

At the end of the program, the young recitalists were awarded certificates of completion, recognizing their commitment and perseverance throughout the 10-day course.
