Manresa School marked the beginning of Lenten Season with Ash Wednesday Community Mass at 7:30 a.m in the old gym last March 5, 2025.

Prior to the mass, a brief paraliturgy commemorated the birth anniversary of Blessed Maria Antonia Bandres, F.I.. Ms. Concepcion B. Villagracia presented a concise biography, drawing attention to her life characterized by a profound love for Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and those in need, and underscoring her commitment to excellence as embodied in her motto: “What is worth doing is worth doing well.” The commemoration was concluded by a floral offering and the communal singing of her hymn.

In his homily, Rev. Fr. Enrico Salazar reminded the community about the essence of the celebration of Ash Wednesday and the imposition of Ashes as a significant part of ones Christian faith and life.

The Pastoral Ministry Team consistently guides the community, especially the students, in observing the Lenten season through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. They also commended the students for their exemplary behavior, which contributed to a solemn and meaningful Mass.
